Student Behavior Specialists

Created in 2008, The Student Behavior Specialist role is a fluid and ever-expanding one, designed to assist in the creation of a positive learning experience for all GRIC children, both on and off reservation
Our goal is to assist in building social and emotional skills in the children of Gila River Indian Community, so that they will be as successful as possible as they pursue their education. Whether by individual work, group work, or teacher consultations, the Student Behavioral Specialists are dedicated to creating a positive environment in which our children can learn.

*We serve all GRIC students enrolled in educational settings from pre-school through High School, whether in an on-reservation campus or off-reservation campus. This includes students on IEPs over the age of 18 who are still enrolled in High School.
